We provide interim, emergency assistance with basic needs for those unable to provide for themselves. Basic needs include shelter, food, medications, rent, utilities, etc. Assistance is issued in the form of vouchers for these items paid directly to a vendor. We will also refer you to other programs that will help you to meet these basic needs.

Neighbor Helping Neighbor
Neighbor Helping Neighbor (NHN) helps utility customers who experience some sort of emergency or financial hardship but are unable to qualify for other government-funded energy assistance programs. Our grants are designed to prevent these customers from having their utility service disconnected because they are unable to pay their bills.

Electric Assistance Program
The Electric Assistance Program, or EAP, can help income eligible customers pay their electric bills. The EAP provides eligible customers with a discount on their monthly electric bills. The discounts range from 8% to76%, depending on the customer’s gross household income and household size.
